Christopher Gregory

Chris has been a lobbyist for more than 25 years. He's worked at every level on campaigns and elections and brings an understanding of organizational and group dynamics to his work. He has worked on some of the most difficult and contested electoral races in the state.

While attending Brandeis University, Chris joined John Kerry and others in starting Vietnam Veterans Against the War in Massachusetts. He was a VVAW organizer for four years. After working for Fr. Drinan, in his first re-election campaign, he went to work in prisons, first as a medic at MCI Walpole and then as an administrator at MCI Shirley Pre-Release Center. He joined Massachusetts Fair Share, a community organizing group in 1976 and worked in communities in Boston for 10 years. Asked to head an Agent Orange Research effort by the Commonwealth, he managed three research efforts that produced the first universally recognized epidemiological evidence of increased cancers of certain kinds among Vietnam Veterans.

Chris has worked on many campaigns, from Mayor of Boston, managed a campaign for representative in Congress to Political Director for John Kerry's successful campaign against Governor Weld.

Chris has worked for community organizations, trade unions, public sector unions and private industry. He wrote and worked on the passage of the Pacheco - Menard Bill which created criteria for the 'Buy or Make' choices that the Commonwealth was making at that time. He has worked for the energy efficiency industry since the mid 90's.

Nomita Ganguly

Nomita Ganguly is an attorney with Gregory & Associates providing legislative and administrative advocacy to non-profit clients.  Her work at Gregory & Associates follows nine years as a legislative advocate on older adult and disability issues with The PASS Group.  She draws on her experience at the State House as legislative staff to the Joint Committee on Human Services in the House and the Office of Senator Mark Montigny in the Senate as well as Associate Counsel with Senate Ways and Means, and as a staff attorney with the non-profit health care advocacy organization, Community Catalyst.  Nomita is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law.

Nomita has presented at Mass Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and at the Boston Bar Association on legislative issues addressing the needs of older adults.
